Nancy is the founder and president of AdWest Consulting, Inc. , a Golden, Colorado – based sales and marketing firm that specializes in the publication industry. Crego has worked closely with some of the most prominent publishing companies within the Rocky Mountain region including Cowles Media, Titsch Publishing, Scripps Howard and Weisner Publishing Group. She also provided long range planning strategies for the Community College System of Colorado.

She has worked with weekly newspapers, including the Sentinels/Transcript Newspapers, a mainstay of weekly publications in the Denver Metro area, as well as several popular business publications including Scripps Howard Business Journals and the Rocky Mountain Business Journal, ColoradoBiz Magazine and the Governor’s Magazine for Economic Development where she served as re-launch publisher.

She created the Denver-Boulder Catalogue, an upscale shopping guide with sister publications in Vail – Beavercreek, Aspen and Santa Fe for the Denver region and also launched EasyChair Magazine of Jefferson County, a premier direct mail publication in the county and also re-launched The West Chamber of Commerce serving Jefferson County Business Directory. She also launched shopping center magazines for General Growth Properties.

Her expertise includes: increasing advertising sales in diversified publishing companies through sales and managing; building strategic partnerships; evaluating and implementing sales strategies; training sales staffs; re-launching publications to increase revenues and readership; creating new, highly “profitable” niche-marketing publications and special advertising sections; developing sales training programs and building synergistic editorial/sales teams.

Many of her clients have multiple publications throughout the nation.

She uses the Sandler Selling System in her approach to teaching advertising sales. She has been a frequent guest speaker at sales and marketing conferences around the region for Chambers of Commerce. Her “Eight Simple Ways for Growing your Business” presentation has been well received by business throughout the Denver Metro area. She is a member of The Colorado Press Association and various business organizations.
